Dr. Eric Giles

Dr. Eric Giles has cultivated a cosmopolitan career as a performer, teacher, consultant, stylist and entrepreneur. Giles currently holds the position of Adjunct Professor of Oboe at East Texas A&M University. As a performer, Dr. Giles can be found regularly with the Texarkana Symphony and has performed with numerous ensembles including the Memphis Symphony, Rockwall Philharmonic, Wichita Falls Symphony, Amarillo Symphony, Saint Joseph Symphony, Northland Symphony, Midwest Chamber Ensemble, and many more. 

Giles is also a stylist and artist manager at Ariel Artists where he works with international chamber musicians. Additionally Eric is the founder of Classically Styled Musician, a branding, styling  and consulting company designed to uplift and empower musicians. Giles received his Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of North Texas. Before UNT, Giles received his Master of Music Degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor’s degree from Columbus State University. Giles’ primary instructors include Jung Choi, James Ryon, Susan Tomkiewicz, Celeste Johnson, and Erica Cice. 

Giles has also forged a career in social media. Through his content creation, Eric has created content for Hugo Boss, Tommy John, True Citrus Comfort Republic, West Georgia Medical Center as well as many other companies.
